Poncia: The Planet That Doesn’t Play Nice 🌑
Imagine a world that, right from the start, screams trouble. Poncia is just that—a failed terraforming project that left a trail of genetic anomalies and socio-political tension as thick as the atmosphere. The first time Kash and his crew set their sights on Poncia, they know they're stepping into a volatile landscape, but they need something there, and that means taking risks.
The royal family of Poncia is as mysterious as it is dysfunctional—marked by their pale skin and signature purple hair, the "royals" are different, and not just in the political sense. Their genetic makeup, a result of the planet's strange anomalies, has kept them isolated and, to some extent, immune to the hardships faced by the planet's common folk.
Kash’s mission? It's a tough one. He’s not only contending with the harsh reality of the planet's unstable conditions but also with a population that has grown desperate and angry. Add in some Consortium agents and a suspicious genetic anomaly, and it’s a recipe for an explosive situation.
Enter Doc, the enigmatic, silver-tongued scientist who claims to have all the answers. The problem? Doc is also incredibly manipulative, and the truth behind his motivations is never quite clear. He talks of terraforming, of genetic fixes, but the deeper Kash and Calynn dig, the murkier things become. Doc’s willingness to do anything to solve the “problem” on Poncia—mentalism and coercion included—pushes Kash to his limits. Trust is a rare commodity here, and Doc isn’t exactly someone Kash can bet his life on.
